We’re squarely in this category, ever since we read in Tennis magazine that she was a snot while signing autographs at the 2006 U.S. Open. (We liked the pre-prima donna Maria).
Want to chuckle at Maria Sharapova‘s on-court shrieks? Behold, high-pitched Maria at the Qatar Open (20s):

We USED to like her, but not so much since we found out she wasn’t that fan-friendly.
MORE grunting? Wow! There’s probably a fan club for that, given her (sometimes creepy) following in some sectors. Don’t worry, Jason. You’re definitely not one of the creepy ones! :)
Yeah, we’re just not that into high-pitched sounds. Maria’s not alone. We don’t have patience for yippy dogs, screaming girlie-girl fans, and over-the-top sopranos, either!
I think she’s a great player and I’ve enjoyed watching her play the couple times I’ve seen her. And what’s wrong with grunting? I say more grunting!!! :)
I agree with you, Bee. She gets on my nerves as does her grunting . . . especially because you know that’s an “intimidation tactic” she was taught long ago.
Hey Maria………….SHUT UP!!!! Or….I’ll give you something to Ugh about.
