Fair Grounds Recap – Jan 10^th

Fast main track and off the turf again. Seven wire jobs on the main (5 in sprints). Patient types scored twice at a mile and forty yards.

Jamie Theriot and ‘Cisco Torres both booted home a pair.

Endorsement (Lebron-Ritter) bears watching after finishing a clear 2^nd behind sharp wire job winner Down With Dixie (Torres-McGee) in the 8^th. The former raced wide throughout and had five lengths on show finisher Northern Giant. The $450k Keeneland sales grad should not be a maiden much longer.

In the finale, my best bet top Sarava Man (Theriot-Wes Hawley) lost all chance after blowing the break. He ended up 7^th of 10 and is a prominent throughout rebound threat with a clean break next time.

On the analysis front, I got home tops Cee Bailey Zoom ($5.00) and Caspian ($6.60). I also tabbed the 2^nd race superfecta and 9^th race exacta.

Fair Grounds Preview – Jan 11th

A 9-race program will be run on Monday at the Fair Grounds. Mostly sunny skies are expected with a high temperature of 50. Pick six carryover of $1,946.

My combo to watch on Sunday (Briggy-Asmussen) teamed up for one win on the day. I’ll go back to Michelle Lovell as my trainer to watch. The recently hot conditioner won a pair for me one day last week, and she has four live runners on Monday. Jamie Theriot, fresh off a riding double, has numerous mounts on Monday, and note that he rides Pioneering Native (3-1) for Lovell in the 2^nd race.
