Dancia’s 2010 Nationwide Series Schedule

Alright gentlemen! The schedule for sweetheart Danica Patrick is out and we have what you have been thinking about. The newest and best looking racer to take to a NASCAR track in quite a few years, maybe we could get her to pose for a racing calendar featuring, just her behind the wheel. The calendar is sure to sell out as soon as it hits the stands, with the boys fighting over a spot in the line up. The opportunity to merchandise and advertise Danica is just to much to resist and she has already been seen talking to America on television and advertising NASCAR. America and racing appear to be hungry for a female presence in racing that goes beyond bathing suit shots and it’s about time that more female drivers were given a real opportunity to see what they can do.

Danica will be behind the wheel of a JR Motorsports race car for a total of twelve confirmed Nationwide Series dates for 2010, with a thirteenth as yet unconfirmed date that we’ll get back to you on. Danica has been very competitive in her racing career and we expect her to do pretty good in her first full year on the Nationwide Series. Expectations can never really be achieved for Danica as she’s blazing a trail that has never been seen by female eyes before. Still, Danica really only has to answer to one person at the end of the day and that’s is herself and hopefully she’s aware of this. The racing will be hard enough without putting anymore pressure on the lady, so let’s cut her a break and all sit back and watch the show. The show is shaping up to be a tough one that should go to the toughest racer with the fastest car and you never know, that just might be a lady.

Danica will start the year by competing with the boys on the pavement of Fontana on February 20th, before heading to Las Vegas and a February 27th date. Danica will next race at Loudon on June 26th, Chicago on July 9th, Michigan on August 14th, and then Dover on September 25th. Danica will next race at Fontana on October 9th, before heading to Charlotte and an October 15th date with the boys. After that she heads to Gateway on October 23rd, Texas will greet her on November 6th, and she’ll finish out the season at Homestead on November 20th. This schedule is set in stone, so far, but if any changes occur, we’ll get back to you with the changes, so you can alter your plans. There’s still the up-in-the-air date of February 13 at Daytona International Speedway to be determined, but the driver won’t be determined until after February 6th.

It must be exciting for Danica as she approaches the beginning of her first full season of racing in the Nationwide Series and we hope it’s everything she thought it would be.
