Curtis Painter – Fantasy Football Preview

Usually, it’s a good idea to have the quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts on your fantasy football squad. However, when that quarterback is Curtis Painter, that assumption isn’t so clear.

What should we expect from Curtis Painter in fantasy football for Week 4?

Not much.

Curtis Painter entered the season as the Colts’ third-string quarterback behind Peyton Manning and Kerry Collins. However, with Manning and Collins both ailing, Curtis Painter is expected to get the nod.

Although he’s a fan favorite, Curtis Painter hasn’t done much during the few snaps he’s gotten in the NFL. The 26-year-old has completed only 13-of-39 passes and has a QB rating of 23.8. He has two interceptions, two fumbles and no touchdowns.

Curtis Painter and the Colts travel to Tampa Bay to face the Buccaneers on Monday Night Football. Even if you are desperate, you need to find a better fantasy football option than Curtis Painter. Don’t be fooled by the uniform.
