College Football Power Ranking – Top Ten

With the college football national championship around the corner, here’s the EveryJoe.com power rankings of the top ten college football teams. In these power rankings, the top two teams are set. If they keep winning, they will meet in the national championship. However, as we’ve learned in recent years, no team is Cinderella-proof — especially late in the season.

1. Auburn
After an very impressive win at Alabama, the best team in the country is Auburn.

2. Oregon
Their offense is unstoppable. Is the rest of their team ready to grind with Auburn?

3. TCU
If either of the top seeds slip up, TCU may finally get their chance to shine.

4. Wisconsin
With another lopsided victory, Wisconsin is definitely for real.

5. Stanford
They arguably have the best QB in the nation. That always counts for something.

6. Ohio State
Ohio State seems to be getting better and better as the season progresses.

7. Michigan State
Quietly, Michigan State is a team that should do well in the playoffs … oh wait.

8. Arkansas
With an impressive win on Saturday, Arkansas jumps in the rankings.

9. Oklahoma
Even though they have two loses, Oklahoma is a top ten team in the nation.

10. Boise State
The former No. 3 team falls to No. 10 after collapsing against Nevada.
