The Tennessee Titans star running back is holding out for a new contract, and with the 2011 NFL season quickly approaching, it’s looking less and less likely that he’ll play in Week 1. That, understandably, has tension at high levels. To relieve some steam, Chris Johnson took to Twitter on Wednesday.

“Can these fake Titan fans STFU on my timeline I don’t have a regular job so don’t compare me to you and I can care less if uthink I’m greedy.”
“If you was a real fan my tweet would not bother you it only make the fake fans upset”
“My titan fans taking it all wrong I’m talking to the ones writing me racist Comments. I’m not call the Titan fans fake at all.”
Why would Titans fans be calling Chris Johnson greedy? Well, the Titans have publicized the fact that they have offered to give Chris Johnson the richest contract for a running back in the history of the NFL. Despite their offer, the two sides can’t agree on a new deal.
