Chris Cook has always been known as a bad apple. However, his latest charge has taken his act to a whole new level. On Tuesday, the cornerback for the Minnesota Vikings was suspended indefinitely after he was charged with felony assault by strangulation.
For trying to choke a B, allegedly of course, faces 36 months in jail. The female in question was Cook’s girlfriend. He’s now barred from contacting her … or even leaving the state of Minnesota. A football who can’t travel isn’t very valuable in the NFL.
The Vikings could opt to just cut him loose. While Cook had become a starter recently, he’s not good enough for this type of drama.
At 1-6, Vikings fans are having trouble supporting their team. Cook’s latest cowardice actions don’t help matters.
