Chris Bosh Carries Heat in Game 3 Win

Chris Bosh has gotten his share of heat this season — and not in a good way. The power forward has been in the shadow of Dwyane Wade and LeBron in Miami. However, in Game 3 of the 2011 Eastern Conference Finals against the Chicago Bulls, Bosh carried the Heat to a 96-85 victory. The Heat now lead the series 2-1.

In 43 minutes, Bosh had 34 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals. He was 13-for-18 from the field and 8-for-10 at the line. Wade and James combined for 39 points but hit just 12-of-30 shot attempts.

Said James: “C.B. had it going; when we have someone going on our team, we continue to go to him.”

Carlos Boozer had 26 points and 17 rebounds for the Bulls, while 2011 NBA MVP Derrick Rose had 20 points and five assists. However, both players were just 8-for-19 from the floor.

Game 4 will be played in Miami on Tuesday. With another win, Bosh and the Heat can advance to within one game of the 2011 NBA Finals.
