While Brad Childress coached the Minnesota Vikings, he did whatever he thought was necessary to win football games. Whether that meant getting on his hands and knees to beg Brett Favre to unretire, or trading for the enigma that is Randy Moss. However, regarding the latter move, Brad Childress says he now regrets the decision.
Said Brad Childress to NFL.com: “We had good guys, by and large, (but Randy Moss) walked in the locker room and vomited on it.”
That’s certainly a descriptive way to say that Randy Moss ruined the team’s chemistry. It got so bad, in fact, that the Viking decided to release the future Hall of Fame wide receiver.
Shortly thereafter, Brad Childress was released from his job duties. Although Randy Moss isn’t totally to blame, he sure did play a part.
