Andre Johnson Injury Update – Fantasy Football Outlook

Andre Johnson was regarded by many as the best fantasy football wide receiver heading into the 2011 NFL season. However, after a good start, Andre Johnson has been out injured with a hamstring injury. He has missed the last three games for the Houston Texans.

The good news is that Andre Johnson was able to return to the practice field this week. That said, don’t take it as a sign that he’s definitely going to play this week.

“I wouldn’t say I felt great,” admitted Andre Johnson. “I didn’t feel how I expected I would feel, but I was able to go out and make a few plays. We just keep taking it one day at a time.”

If Andre Johnson can return this week, he’s an instant fantasy football start. That’s especially true considering the Texans have four easy games in a row: Jacksonville Jaguars twice, Cleveland Browns and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

So far this season, Andre Johnson has 25 catches for 352 yards and two touchdowns in four games.
