Fantasy football owners who have Adrian Peterson on their fantasy team should be excited. The usually quiet superstar running back says he wants the football in his hands more often. And anyone who has watched the Vikings play so far this season, including their own head coach Leslie Frazier, agrees with him.
The Vikings have been really good in the first halves of games. But in the second half, Minnesota has fallen apart. The result is an 0-3 record.
When Peterson has gotten the football, he has produced. He has averaged 5.1 yards per rush and has scored three touchdowns. He’s on pass to have a career-best season. Add more carries? Watch out fantasy football world.
At 26, Peterson is in the prime of his career. Going forward, Peterson should be regarded as the best player in all of fantasy football.
