Adrian Peterson Fantasy Football Injury Update

Adrian Peterson has played like a No. 1 overall fantasy football draft pick much of this season. However, an injury is making his fantasy owners sweat. This week, Adrian Peterson has already been ruled out.

The star running back for the Minnesota Vikings is dealing with a sprained left ankle. When the injury first occurred, it appeared to be serious. While he’s been diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain, there is no time-frame for his return yet.

On the season, Adrian Peterson has 872 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns. Though the Vikings have been horrible, Adrian Peterson has held onto his fantasy value.

Going forward, Toby Gerhart will start at running back for the Vikings. Since he’ll get plenty of touches, go ahead and start him in your fantasy league. His 4.9 yards per carry gives hope that he can produce like an average fantasy RB.
