Aaron Rodgers Destroys Matt Ryan

The Green Bay Packers against the Atlanta Falcons was really Aaron Rodgers against Matt Ryan. These two rising star quarterbacks went head-to-head to decide who deserves superstar status. At the final whistle, Aaron Rodgers was the superstar and Matt Ryan was the goat.

Aaron Rodgers was 31-for-36 for 366 yards and three touchdowns as the Packers killed the Falcons, 48-21. For good measure, Rodgers also ran for a touchdown. Ryan, on the other hand passed for 186 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. And actually, he was even worse than those numbers indicate because most of his stats came after the game was decided.

Said Rodgers: “This probably was my best performance.The stage we were on, the importance of this game — it was a good night.”

Considering Matt Ryan got a place in the Pro Bowl over Aaron Rodgers, the Packers quarterback has to loving life right about now.

The Packers will play the survivor of clash between the Chicago Bears and the Seattle Seahawks.
