Heading into Week 4 of the 2011 NFL season, we are starting to get a good idea of which teams are the cream of the crop. In these NFL power rankings, we take a look a the top ten teams in the league. There are a few surprises mixed in with a number of other teams that we knew were going to be great.
1. Green Bay Packers
The defending Super Bowl champions are 3-0 and have shown no reason to doubt.
2. New Orleans Saints
Their only loss of the season was to the Packers in Week 1.
3. Detroit Lions
The undefeated Lions have a staggering amount of talent on both sides.
4. Buffalo Bills
The Bills are 3-0. Last week’s win over the Patriots was stunningly impressive.
5. Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens laid an egg in Week 2 but have otherwise been dominant.
6. Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers have regrouped after getting destroyed by the Ravens in Week 1.
7. New England Patriots
Losing to the Bills knocked the Patriots down at least a few spots.
8. New York Jets
Why isn’t the defense better? That question has Rex Ryan up at nights.
9. Houston Texans
Though still rather weak on D, the offense is a well-oiled machine.
10. Oakland Raiders
I like their D. I like their running game. Can the Raiders keep it up?
