Soap – It’s kind of ironic don’t you think?

Soap is what you use to clean your body. You use it in the shower, in the sink, to wash your hands – it’s what makes the germs and dirt go away. So tell me this. When the soap washed away the germs and dirt…where does it go. Does it stick to the soap? I’m just transferring all my germs and dirt on to the soap, so that the next person comes around and uses that soap and now has my germs and dirt. There really is no way around it – it’s and endless cycle.

A lot of people have ‘bothersoms’. For example, some people have a ‘thing’ about sharing deodorant. That is what I call a bothersome. Well i have many bothersomes, but one of them is sharing soap. If i’m showering, I would like to have my own soap that no one else uses. These days it’s very rare that people use bars of soap, they are more into the luffa’s with shower gel than a bar of soap. Even still, then don’t ever use my loffa. Everyone should use their own. I don’t understand why anyone thinks it natural and alright to share soap. That soap goes in places that no one else does, why would you want to share something like that?

Well, whether or not the soap is “dirty” really depends on the ingredients. Some soaps have ingredients that would kill any bacteria left on it. Plus, the purpose of the soap is to reduce the surface tension on your skin so that it is easier for your to wash away dirt. So as long as you rinse the bar off, you should be fine as the dirt will slide right off.

That said, I wouldn’t use used soap at a hotel or public restroom=)
