Cookie Misfortune

At your next dinner party, surprise your guests with a fortune cookie — well, rather a misfortune cookie. Jason Darling of Lollyphile and Russell Stinnette of Psychlist got together and created Cookie Misfortune. This fortune cookie company sells individually packaged cookies in packs of 10, each cookie containing a misfortune.

Instead of generic cheesy messages, Cookie Misfortune offers prank fortunes that say things like “You will die alone and poorly dressed”, “Life is nasty, brutish, and short” or simply “Fuck you.”

“Misfortune cookies are great pranks – swap ‘em out for one of the cookies at your next Chinese dinner watch watch your friends freak out!” said Stinnett. “Or pass them out at parties. Or to give as a gift – they’re under $10, so they’ll work as white elephants. They are so incredibly versatile! You can also just eat them!”

Cookie Misfortune 10-packs are available for $9.99. You can order them online at cookiemisfortune.com. If you are a business looking for wholesale pricing, you can also call (415) 690-5198.

I love it when drunken ideas come to fruition.
