Skincare Coming To A DS Near You

Not a typo. Not a joke, I swear to you this is true. Nintendo, stalwart in its quest to come up with the weirdest game known to humankind, has decided that gamers are sadly lacking in proper skin care practices, and are stepping in to educate the masses. (Honestly, I’m not sure what the actual impetus behind this game is, I’m only assuming that personal hygiene must have something to do with it.)

How this gem of a title works is that the user can input a target day, signifying something like a prom, a wedding, or other important social event at which it would be absolutely horrifying to have a blemish. The skin care software then spits out customized day-to-day instructions on how to get your skin looking its healthiest before D-Day.

The title was apparently development under the premise of “getting pretty while having fun” according to Konami bigwig Naoyuki Notsu.

Bit of a head-scratcher this…not really sure how even begin comprehending this one.
