Pure organic=pure happiness. I am a Vegan who feasts on all organics, and has a big beautiful garden right outside.

    Entry numero dos….

I went to Nature’s Path website thinking, ohhh I haven’t had ANY of their products! What to do, what to do…WELL. I was wrong. And the funny thing is, I stumbled across their products by accident! About 2 months ago, I had a massive nasty terrible all-consuming sinus infection that made me feel like I was seeing the world through a plastic bag. I went to Walgreens and while waiting for my prescription to get filled, decided to see what food specials they had. I made my clumsy miserable way down the cereal section and saw that some was on sale. One got my attention right away…Pumpkin FlaxPlus Granola cold cereal!!! I was SO happy to see pumpkin in something that I bought it along with my meds! After all, I figured I did need something sort of ‘neutral’ to soak up the medicine. :( But instead of a plain, boring, granola cereal, it turned out to be SO GOOD. I loooved the little pumpkin seeds sprinkled throughout the cereal!! It’s a little high in calories but has such great nutritional value. It helped me feel better while on the meds and I’m STILL buying it! I think that the Pumpkin FlaxPlus Granola cereal is now my new “cure”!!!

I love buying organic foods whenever I can, simply because I like putting healthy and “natural” things in my body rather than processed sugary foods! Although organic food is usually more expensive that most (ie: Kashi cereal!! But the BEST stuff ever!), I sometimes cut back on other expenses to save up!! One reason I want to eat organic and natural is because of my great grandmother. She lived to be almost 103 (!!!!!!!) and ate food from her garden every day, including eating her daily breakfast with bacon! I admire her, look up to her, and hope that those healthy genes are running through my veins too!!!

i try to eat as much organic and local food as possible, but as everyone knows, that can be difficult. if it didn’t cost so much, i’d eat nothing but organic.
price is a major concern for me, seeing as i’m always broke. Unfortunately, it’s price that deters me from buying organic, i would have to say.

I try to eat as organic as possible. All my groceries come from Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s or local farms. It’s pricey but I think worth it.

As for Nature’s Paths products, I looove how they have so many WAFFLE varieties… they all sound SOO yummie. & I like their Envirokidz Bars :]

I try to eat organic produce and meats but a good portion of my packaged foods like cereal and crackers are organic. I tend to find those products taste better and have less funny ingredients.

  16. By Katie

Ooh, I don’t live anywhere near good organic/whole foods stores so I would love to get this stuff!

  17. By Kelsey

Oooh, what a great giveaway! Nature’s Path is seriously the best.
I do not eat organic regularly because it can be too expensive since I’m on the typical college budget. I’d love to though!!

I only buy organic if it’s on sale at the grocery store. However, I do support our local farms by buying produce from them, which is organic. I think it’s a good idea to try and support them.

  19. By Anne

I like organic produce, and eat it when it’s available/not too pricey.
