Zooey Deschanel’s Single Made Rolling Stone’s Top 100 List

It’s that time of year again when everyone and their dog releases their own “Top ____ List of the Year”. This time, it’s the source for all things music, Rolling Stone Magazine.

They’ve released their list of 2008′s top singles and Zooey Deschanel (Emily’s sister) and her singing partner M. Ward had a song on the list. They call themselves She and Him. Their song Why Do You Let Me Stay Here came in #64 on the list. Here’s what Rolling Stone had to say:

  1. “Why Do You Let Me Stay Here” – BY SHE AND HIM
Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward hook up for a retro-pop duet with sweetly plaintive vocals that make Brill Building pop sound unexpectedly hip.

Congratulations, Zooey Deschanel & M. Ward!!
