"Zack and Miri Make a Porno" – Preview and Trailer

Despite the provocative title, “Zack and Miri Make a Porno” actually looks like a lot of fun (if you don’t mind a movie rife with sex, nudity, and swearing). And with the economy being the way it is, well, you’ve gotta wonder if more folks are looking at, uh, creative ways to pay the rent. Plus, there’s not much new in the romantic-comedy department, and this movie definitely looks different from the status quo. Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks look like they have great chemistry, too.

It stars Rogen and Banks as lifelong friends who are facing hard times and a mountain of debt. When the electricity and plumbing get cut off, they decide to make a homegrown porno movie for some quick cash, enlisting the help of their friends. But as things progress along, the two friends wonder if there’s something more between them.

Directed by Kevin Smith, this movie is rated R for strong crude sexual content including dialogue, graphic nudity and pervasive language (definitely not for kids!). In theaters Oct. 31, 2008 (although not every theater, because some are refusing to show the movie). Check out the trailer:
