MILWAUKEE – A familiar voice to Milwaukee R & B fans has been silenced. Twenty-one year old Yolanda “La La” Brown and her producer, 22-year-old JeTannue Clayborn, were found dead in their recording studio Friday night.

Milwaukee police say both were found in the Loud Enuff Productionz studio at 55th and Lisbon. Both had gunshot wounds and had been dead at least a day before being discovered. They were reportedly dating.

JeTannue’s mother, Dina Chambers, describes him as energetic, with an eye toward making music his career. “He loved music. He loved people. He was very kind. They called him “Koo Laid” because every time you saw him, he was smiling.”

Autopsies were scheduled on both Clayborn and Brown, but the results have not been released.

This is a sad and tragic day for hip hop. My kindest regards goes out to the families affected by their losses.

La La Brown leaves behind one daughter Amirrah Airreal Brown.

This pisses me off because not one time did I see her death broadcasted on BET. And if it was on the channel, it wasnt on there enough because I didnt see it. I keep BET on and that is a shame. I hope whoever did this gets caught because that is horrible.
I’m just so pissed right now!

I’m sitting here thinking about how many regrets we leave unspoken. I was around La La when she was a little girl and remember her smile and laugh…I also remember that pouty face she’d make to get her way. Life changes caused our families to become separated and knowing that she was taken from this earth without knowing that I still loved her like a baby sister eats at me a lot. I miss you and love you baby girl and pray to God that the animals that did this to you both, are soon caught and thrown UNDER the jail. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

To the hateful cowards that refuse to stand up and face what you did on your own, trust and believe that your day is coming. I’m so looking forward to the upcoming America’s Most Wanted coverage……I’m sure that those that know you best will soon seek the reward for turning you in. TRUTH!
