Hey, Boo Boo! Yogi Bear and his sidekick Boo-Boo are headed to the big screen! How cool is that?!
The Warner Bros. film will be a mix of live action and CG, with Yogi and his buddy being the latter. Sounds like it’ll be similar to 2007′s Alvin & the Chipmunks. I’m betting they’ll get some of the comedy crowd to do the voices — maybe Will Ferrell for the park ranger and Jack Black for Boo Boo. Hmmm, who’d make a good Yogi?
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie will be directed by Surf’s Up co-helmer/writer Ash Brannon. Joshua Sternin and Jeffrey Ventimilia, who exec produced That ’70s Show, are writing the screenplay.
