"X-Men Origins: Wolverine" hits theaters May 1, 2009 (check out the trailer here), and now is the perfect time to start acquainting ourselves with the mutants. Check out the profile videos from MTV and tell me your favorites in the comments section below. I’m partial to Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) myself.
Profile: Wolverine. Hugh Jackman rocks it as a mutant on a quest for vengeance.
Profile: Sabretooth. Once friends with Wolverine, Sabretooth (Liev Schreiber) is now on the other side of the blades (probably not a good place to be).
Profile: Gambit. Taylor Kitsch‘s card-carrying hero just might prove to be helpful.
Profile: Wade. Ryan Reynolds a.k.a. the infamous "Merc with a Mouth" gets his big-screen debut.
Profile: Wraith. This teleporting mutant played by Will.I.Am promises to "hunt down the devil himself."
