Supernatural’s Nicki Aycox (aka Meg) plays a deep undercover cop on TNT’s newest crime drama Dark Blue.

Leverage, now in its second season, stars Christian Kane of Angel, Aldis Hodge who played Jake on Supernatural and Gina Bellman starred in that wonderful BBC series Jekyll.

I haven’t seen Dark Blue yet but I loved Meg on SPN so I’ll have to watch. As for Leverage, I am totally and completely in love!

I have loved Leverage ever since the first show. Angel was one of my all time favorite shows “mmm Angel”. When I first saw the commercial with Christian Kane I just had to watch it. It is awesome to see him continue his career. Timothy Hutton’s character is so interesting and I keep expecting Nate to be with Sophie. I want to watch Dark Blue but it comes on to late so I am planning to watch it on demand. Keep the great episodes coming and thank you for all of the entertaining characters.

I cannot even begin to tell you how much I love this show! I admit that I originally wanted to see it because of Christian (huge fan of his) and Tim Hutton but ever since the first minute of this show I realized what a true gem it was going to be. This show has it all, tremendous actors, fantastic writing and top notch directing. I watch each episodes no less then 10 times after it airs. I’ve just recently gotten into Dark Blue and, while not a good as Leverage it is extremely entertaining. TNT has themselves a Wednesday night lineup that no one else can touch!

Woo Hoo! I LOVE Leverage! Was sympathetic yet was annoyed with Jake, Aldis played him *very* well, but he beyond excels as Hardison. And CK, totally awesome as Eliot. As a matter a fact, the entire cast is beyond appealing. And Nicky in Dark Blue…she was totally the reason I tuned in and not I’m hooked on the series and I’m usually not into dark cop dramas. For such a sweat person to play the characters she does…wow she does a wonderful job.

Thank GOODNESS Leverage is a good show. I started watching it because of the outstanding Christian Kane and it has definitely lived up to the hype!

Leverage is definitely one of the best shows on right now. I’m just so glad that Aldis Hodge is getting to showcase his skills! Supernatural didn’t do as much with him as they could have, if you ask me.
Haven’t watched Dark Blue yet, but I may have to tune in one of these days.

Loved the show from the first episode. It helped that TNT presented it commercial-free too! Parker and Hardison are what keeps me sticking around, although watching Christian Kane fight isn’t too bad either. <3 And the back-and-forth between Eliot and Hardison is always too funny.

I’m always so surprised how much I like Gina Bellman in this show. In “Coupling” I always found her to be a little irritating, though that was largely due to her character, not her.

I started watching Leverage after I realized that Kane was on the show. Within the first episode, I was hooked! The witty comedy keeps you on your toes just as much as the cons do! I love all the characters and the chemistry they bring to this wonderful show! I especially love how this season they are fleshing out the characters and getting into their past more. When they aired the Order 23 Job and we got a glimpse of Elliott’s childhood, it makes you understand him more and why he is the way he is. I love that!

As for Dark Blue! I didn’t think I would like it because I was thinking of The Shield when I saw the previews, but once I sat down to watch an episode, I couldn’t stop wanting more! It’s not as gritty as The Shield (which I’m thankful for) but it packs enough punch to show you what that sort of job could really be like. I like it that Carter still holds on to morals, but he’s willing to do what’s needed to get the job done! As for Dean? LOVE HIM! He hides his demons well, but I have a feeling that won’t last long. They always eventually come out to haunt you even more. Jamie is an excellent character as well.

I look forward to these shows every week! :D

All of the actors in Leverage are amazing. It is interesting to watch them change their acting for the different jobs their characters take. Aldis Hodge especially impresses me, as I have seen him in two other shows, each time playing strikingly different characters, but that is not to say that the other actors are not equally talented.

Parker is probably the character I find most intriguing because she is so unique. However, I like all of the characters and find the dynamics between them all written and played very well. The episodes and interesting and often funny. At first, I was hesitant to give this show a try, because there are so many shows that I start watching and get bored with, but Leverage has kept my full attention.

Although I have not yet had time to watch beyond the first episode of Dark Blue, I believe it could also turn out to be a very interesting show. The tone is much darker than Leverage, but I often prefer dark tones. The actors seemed to portray their characters well, and I fully intend to watch the new episodes as soon as I have some time.

I have been a fan of Christian’s since Angel and it’s great to see him in a new show again. I love the entire cast of Leverage. I think they mesh so well together and I think it’s truly amazing to find a show like this on in a world of reality and talentless shows. I hope to see more from this great cast in later eps!

Leverage is brilliant; one of the few shows I watch every week. Kane’s a big reason why I watch but I’ll admit to having much love for Hardison! :) Must be a geek thing… ;)

Leverage quickly became our favorite cable show last summer. I just love the cast and the characters. The Christian Kane flashbacks (especially the one with the monkey) are always hysterical.

Oh, Leverage. I can’t stop recommending this show to all my friends. I think it’s combination of con, wit, and humor is fantastic. It has something to offer everyone, no matter what age or gender. I can’t wait to see what the creators have planned for the rest of the season.

Leverage is probably the best show on cable right now (better than Burn Notice) and Dark Blue is my favorite new show this summer (better than Royal Pains, Hung, Warehouse 13, and Nurse Jackie).

I love Leverage as well. I, too, watched it for Christian Kane and Aldis Hodge, and now I love the characters of Eliot and Hardison. Aldis really surprised me with this character. My husband laughs out loud at his lines. “I can’t hack a hick!” PRICESLESS!! Parker is so unique and I love the chemistry between Sophie & Nate. Keep up the good work team! You are doing great!

Thanks for the chance to win some goodies from these great shows!

Leverage is a must watch for everybody. There isn’t a single weak link in the cast or the characters. Oscar winner Timothy Hutton and his team play expert criminals on the side of the little guy against a corrupt corporate America. They are a band of super-heroes but their super powers are within the realm of possibility. The show has an excellent pedigree, having been developed by Dean Devlin, who wrote and produced Independence Day. The writing is funnier than any sitcom to be found on television today. John Rogers, who leads the team of writers, a qualified physicist on the side, is a self-described geek who sneaks in many references to other shows and movies, and half the fun is in trying to pick them up. Timothy Hutton, Beth Riesgraf, Aldis Hodge and Gina Bellman are all truly brilliant in their roles, but my personal favorite would have to be Christian Kane. The women will want to watch him for … let’s just say get the drool cup ready, and the men will appreciate the way his character can take out five guys at a time very convincingly. I’m not usually a fight scene fan, but these fights are really great to watch and plausible, probably because Christian does all of the fight scenes himself, with no stunt doubles involved. He’s had two trips to hospital this season to prove it. If you’re not watching this show yet, start now, and get the Season 1 DVDs so that you can catch up.

Okay, I have to admit it, I’m addicted! I love Leverage! I can just sit there for hours on end (and I have) watching, and re-watching the episodes. I always find something else completely hilarious every time I watch. If I ever get the chance I’ve got to say thank you to all the people who work so hard to get this show to us, you’ve done (and are continuing to do) an amazing job. My mother and sister have started to give me weird looks because I like it so much. The whole thing is amazing, from the heists to the dialogue, it caters to everyone; men, women, kids, teens, seniors.

To start us off we have we have Alec Hardison (Aldis Hodge) ‘The Tech Support’ say in “The Bank Shot Job”: “You know, I had to reattach 2 satellites, just to get a lousy internet connection. It more than an hour to torrent the last episode of Doctor Who.” The pure nerdiness of the quote reaches all those online viewers and Whovians of the fans who KNOW what it is like to do that (I can really relate). Then we have Nathan Ford’s (Timothy Hutton) troubles and wit which make the heists go off even in the face of adversity. Sophie Devereaux’s (Gina Bellman) dreams to become an actress, even though her acting is a bit on the horrid side, and Bellman has real talent to be able to act horribly brilliantly. Eliot Spencer (Christian Kane) is the southern gent who can make any of the female (and possibly male) fans swoon. He is full of surprises, like his ability to cook, which we saw in “The Wedding Job”, and reminds us never to judge a kind-hearted, teddy-bearish book, by its big, manly cover. Finally, Parker (Beth Riesgraf) brings the naivety and childlike mentality (with some surprising moments of genius), to the Leverage family, and making us all go “Aww… she didn’t just – she did” at some moments and go “Heehee, she is awesome!” at others.

Leverage shows the family dynamic between friends and how eloquently one can play the game of chess as “the black king, white knight”.
