William Fichtner – Small Role in The Dark Knight

William Fichtner was cast in a tiny tole in The Dark Knight as a bank manager. A clip from his NHL blog says:

“I just got back from Chicago, because a director friend of mine asked a favor: to shoot the opening scene in his film, last minute. He called Saturday, and I told him, ‘you’re killing me,’ but it’s cool and I love working on cool things.”

You know the Joker’s comment, “whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stranger?” William Fichtner is going to be the next villain. My guess is the riddler.

When I saw the movie I recognized him right away. It was a small role but he was amazing anyway (I felt so bad for him though)! I loved him in Equilibrium. I wonder if he and Christian Bale are friends and if they met each other in Chicago. Anyway I LOVE THIS GUY!!!
