Will Smith to Play Obama?

Ok, not really, but what do you bet that Will Smith WILL play Barack Obama at some point in the near or distant future. Really, isn’t he perfect for the role? Just think about it, Will. That’s all I ask.

In fact, these new images from Smith’s new movie, “Seven Pounds,” just arrived, and he looks a lot like Obama, doesn’t he?

The film re-teams Smith with the director and producers of “The Pursuit of Happyness” (one of my favorite Will Smith movies in recent years). He plays a guy who ends up changing the lives of seven strangers. Hmmm… Obama’s got that going for him, too!

In the vein of the heart warming inspirational “Pursuit of Happiness” Seven Pounds is a movie filled with hope and spiritual power. The film does get a bit slow but the pick up is well worth the wait. Will Smith’s role reminds somewhat of his character in “Pursuit of happiness” but it doesn’t take away from the fact we have yet another gem on our hands.

I HYPED Seven Pounds on EverHYPE and scored it 96%, which I think is very accurate.
