Will Ferrell: Anchorman 2? Say It Ain’t So!

anchorman1 Let me say right off the bat that I HATED Anchorman. And I have friends who absolutely raved about it, which made me wonder what the heck is wrong with me.

Again, I hated it. Didn’t think it was funny. And I say this after I’ve admitting openly that I thought Talladega Nights had some very funny scenes.

So anyway, for months now, I’ve been hearing rumors about the possibility of “Anchorman 2″ — from various cast members, as well as the director, Adam McKay.

Now Ron Burgundy himself — that would be Will Ferrell — has chimed in and said he’s interested, as well. During an interview for Step Brothers in New York, Ferrell said, “We might do another Anchorman, potentially. That’s such a fun character to do again.” Please, say it ain’t so!

What about you? Did you like Anchorman? Think I’m off my noggin for not loving it?
