To celebrate a great October here at Metalmartyr.com I want to give away a Megadeth Warchest that I got a great deal on tonight. This is too easy. To enter all you have to do is tell me what your favorite Megadeth song is in the comment section and thats it, your entered. I will gather all the entries at the end of the month and draw names from a hat or something. Now there is a slight catch. When the winner gets it it will be slightly used meaning, in the meantime I get to check it out! But don’t worry, it will be in like new condition when the winner gets it.
Now this isn’t as big as the XBox 360 Giveaway that Earsucker is hosting, but it’s still a pretty damn cool prize! What are you waiting for, comment and enter!!

So far tornado of souls and In My Darkest Hour seem to be the favorites. I love both songs myself. I remember when I got rust in peace in 1994, I listened to it for days on end.

Tornado of Souls. I think that Rust in Peace was Megadeth’s apex in terms of technicality and songwriting. Marty Friedman’s leads are amazing, and this song has the best lead he has ever played, in my opinion
Gotta agree with you on that one. You can’t beat the intro withthe bass and then the guitar solo kicks in. I love it!
My favorite would have to be Peace Sells… gotta love that bass! :)
Tornado Of Souls, it is a whirlwind, it sounds, and moves just like a tornado, beginning to end.

Hmm.. good question.. although the answer very much depends on which mood i’m in. But I’ll have to go with “Angry again”, since I’m feeling a little pissed off at the moment.
