Who is Ms. Hawking? – a complete history

Casual Lost viewers are probably still scratching their heads over the strange woman Ben met with at the end of last week’s episode, “The Lie.” Her name is Ms. Hawking, and she’s a figure of great mythos throughout Lost fandom, though virtually nothing is known about her.

Here’s a great fan-edited video from YouTube user “arta10304″ that puts together in one 8-minute clip all of Ms. Hawking’s appearances on the show. She’s appeared in three episodes total (though one was just a photograph). It’s only recommended viewing for those who’ve seen up through the 2nd episode of Season 5.

So who is she? Daniel Faraday’s mother? Almost certainly. But still… who is she?
