I’m absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to help interview Hugh Laurie and House executive producer, Katie Jacobs this Thursday! I have so many things I want to know about season 6 of House, but don’t want to be selfish about it. I also want to ask some of the questions you want to know about too!

Since we have a couple of days to prepare for the interview, I’d love it if you could leave a comment on this post with your questions for Hugh & Katie and I’ll do my best to ask the most popular ones. It’s a conference call interview and there will a bunch of us asking questions so I’ll have to narrow it to the best couple of questions.
I want to know more about the relationships on the show and more about how House’s time in the psych hospital will affect him. I’d also love to know some of the cases they have coming up. But what do you want to know? Please let me know! :-)
Katie, are you and David having fun torturing people who would love to see House and Cuddy in a relationship? First Lydia (worst thing ever) and second Lucas. Give us a gun. It will be faster.
Can we expect another Huddy kiss or/and another real Huddy sex scene during
the season 6 ???

I’d like to also know how many episodes Lucas will be in? How long have Cuddy and Lucas been in a relationship? Is the show trying to kill Huddy? I would also like to know if there will be any reveal about Huddy’s past and why they have such a hard time admitting their feelings?

My question is about Hugh himself; maybe he will find it too personal. Hugh has often talked about his “superstition” that if he would admit to joy or happiness in his life, then disaster would result. How does he reconcile these fears with his belief in reason and science? This is also diametrically opposed to House’s view that superstition (in “Here Kitty”) is “idiotic” (HOUSE’s term, not mine!).
What keeps Hugh holding onto these superstitions despite his strong belief in rational thought? (I suspect that Hugh will give an offhanded joke here, but I am serious).

I missed the “House” of the first 3 seasons and swore never to return after last season, but with the prospect of no Huddy, I so much want to give it a try. I always liked the interactions between House and Cameron, no matter on what level. Can we expect to see more of these? Also, what about Stacey? Any chance of Sela Ward returning?
I would love to know if there is going to be more Chase in the following season. There has always been great chemistry between House and Chase, and I think the relationship deserves to be explored more. Any chance of some great and intense House/Chase moments on the show? Maybe House helping Chase to deal with the euthanasia plot line? (Thanks so much for giving us the chance to ask!)
Hi guys. I´m a big Huddy/Hudson fan from Spain but I wouldn´t like to see H/Cud in a serious relationship right now. I know it would be hard to write it in a satisfactory way for everybody (well we now some people will never be happy with this couple even if Shakespeare comes to write it). But anyway I´d like to know if we can wait for lots of excelent House/Cuddy scenes this season (including some romantic or sexual moments)b/c this is what I´m really waiting for.
I love the show but I have the feeling they are trying to kill the House/Cuddy “romantic” relationship slowly. Can you ask them if this is true? B/c i think I´m giving up my hopes.
I agree with Paulac about wanting to get back to more of the humor of the first seasons, although I think the (mostly) unremitting darkness and losses of Season 5 were necessary for House to get to the point of admitting he needed help. I am very hopeful for Season 6 based on the sly humor and the new energy in the latest ad campaigns (Snakes and the RV shoot) — what I’ve seen leads me to believe that Hugh’s new “voice” as an executive producer is behind these unusual-for-Fox promos. My question for both Hugh and Katie is will his influence continue to be felt throughout the season as he continues (hopefully) in this new role? Or do the demands of acting in the show keep him from further involvement as the season goes on (as in season 5 where Hugh co-exec-produced episodes 2 & 3 but no others)?
One other question for the group — did I miss a spoiler? How do we know Cuddy and Lucas are getting together?
Any chance of going back to the really terrific ‘black humour’ of the Seasons 1, 2 and 3 days? I am one of the UKs most devoted fans of Hugh Laurie/House but Season 5 simply got more and more depressing with less and less humour – due to the very nature of the storyline. Lets get back to the sarcastic black House humour – which made the show fantastic in the first place – once the post psychiatric story is done with. Stuck with it through Season 5 only because of HL – and for the few highlights of humour and the Huddy, which I for one love. Can’t wait for Season 6 to start!
Is Clint Eastwood finally going to star in an episode?
Maybe when House finds out who his real dad is.

Dr. Jekyl to his Hyde? How much does the character he plays have an influence on him personally. Katie Jacobs, what has enabled you to be in such a wonderful profession. Any advice for your young fans who might aspire to do what YOU do?
@TheAntiPlato: Hugh Laurie is an atheist in real life. He and his friend Stephen Fry are some of the most prominent defenders of reason and science.
In regards to the main topic, I, too, would like to weigh in with questions regarding House and Cameron. I love House and Cuddy, I do, and I would not be upset if the show were to conclude with a House/Cuddy relationship, but I do feel cheated that the show never addressed/put closure on House/Cameron. For three years we were teased with that possibility, and then it came to nothing. I would love to see House have a tryst with Cameron somewhere along the way. As I said, I love both House/Cuddy and House/Cameron, and I would like to see the writers truly put some thought into both. Is that a possibility?
I am sooo dying to see more of Jesse Spencer’s character on the show. The interaction with Hugh Laurie’s House was absolutely wonderful and I would love to see more of it! Please, please can you ask for me if Chase’s character is going to be explored more? Is he plese please going to be fine after the euthanasia plot line he’s been given? He deserves so much more than this honestly awkward relationship with Cameron. I really would love to see him back on the show as House’s friend, too.
