The AMPTP and WGA have not formally met since December 7, 2007 but talks today and yesterday are said to have been quite productive and have led some to believe that a settlement to the writers strike (on since November 5, 2007) could come any day now. Variety reported that insiders have “indicated that lawyers for both sides were exchanging drafts of proposed contract language this weekend.”
I am really hoping for an end of the strike. I love reality television but I need to see some new episodes of regular television shows. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed.
