It looks like Wentworth Miller is in for another round of rumors speculating that he is gay. Remember all those pictures of Went and Luke MacFarlane (from Brothers & Sisters) walking down the street together last August?
At the time Wentworth swore that he was heterosexual, saying “No, I’m not gay. I know these rumors are out there…I’m cool with the fact that they exist, I mean this is about fantasy.” But Luke is no longer denying the rumors. In a recent interview he admitted to being gay. That said, he has not linked himself to Wentworth at all.
But the rumors have already started swirling. Perhaps if Wentworth were in any relationship with a female it would help dispel the nonsense!
“Public figures lie to the public all the time, especially Hollywood stars. They have to do this in order to maintain ANY kind of privacy. Its not like he knows you personally and is lying to you just to be an asshole…he would be lying to perserve his private life, which, after all, is none of your business.”
There are millions of ways a public figure can keep his private life private without lying. How do I know? That’s my job ;o) And actually Went has done it before with this whole gay issue, in case you haven’t noticed ;o) Yes, I would be upset if he lied, what is it to you anyway? You said it: I don’t know him personally but that doesn’t mean I don’t support him…

On this posts we’re talking about not being judgemental and you are the first one who is doing it, Sarah *tsk tsk* That’s a shame. And if we ever meet (not ever happening, obviously) and we get to know each other well, then we can talk about if I’m homophobic or not *wink* Until then, you calling me that it’s completely irrelevant.
This is comments area where PB fans can post their opinions freely as long as we don’t insult each other or bash anything and anyone related to the show. Let’s not make a big deal about this, especially because any gay issues are delicate topics.

And in case it wasn’t clear enough: Wentworth being gay or not doesn’t really matter to me; I will support him and the show. My opinion on all this goes beyond his sexuality and the rumors but after seeing how judgemental people can be, I won’t bother on explaining myself why ;o)
It’s all about tolerance.

Who cares!! In my eyes he’s a fantastic actor, whether he is gay or straight. He he wants to be gay then good for him, if he’s straight then cool. Just as long as he’s happy thats all should matter!!

You know, in my country it is common for a guy being sensitive, or single – because he hasn’t found the right one. I dunno here in America when they see a lame sensitive guy, and – single, they’ll think he’s gay :) I don’t know whether Wentworth is gay or not, but why bother ? Just enjoy the show ! ;D

FYI–Amy Bice (Spelling?) is just a friends he has known for years (he’s said so in interviews), so being seen with her hardly makes him straight. In fact, don’t gay guys ALWAYS hang around with women?? As for Luke and him, who knows? I thought we always knew Luke was gay, but if he has only just recently confirmed it, good for him! No one should have to live a life of denial. Maybe him and Went are JUST friends–afterall, being seen with a gay guy doesn’t make you gay–BUT I do find it odd that you almost NEVER see Went with ANYONE, let alone any other guys. I mean, I have NEVER seen photos o him just hanging out with Dom Purcell or any one like that…and yet here he was, running errands and going to (OH PLEASE!) an ART GALLERY with Luke Mcfarlane, an out gay guy,in plain sight of photographers? I don’t know….looks like he might have been trying to say something or send a mesage without actually saying the words “I’m gay.”
But its his business, not ours.

Those pictures were soooo incremenating of Wentworth and Luke. Give me a break! They were just walking down the street. Let me see a little PDA and I’ll believe it. If he were gay wouldn’t he try to stay in prison and not trying to break out?
Anyway I love him!!! I want to have his babies. If he is gay pleeeeease let him be bisexual!

being gay or not is not something you choose to be, in my opinion. you just are or are not.
i like him, i love the way he looks, acts, moves,… but i don’t think my opinion woul’d change if he was gay,…

this is so ridiculous, what, a man can’t be friends with a gay man, a man can’t walk together with his male friend or gay friend, when did someone become gay just from being friends with a gay man or being seen with a gay man, i know wentworth doesn’t have a girlfriend right now but that doesn’t make him gay he’s just really focused on his career right now and even if he was gay i could care less, it wouldn’t change my view of him at all, as far as im concerned he would still be a hot young talented actor who happens to be one of the most gorgeous men i’ve ever laid my eyes on and with the brains to match
