Wentworth Miller’s parents wanted him to be a police officer, but he knew it wasn’t for him. He wanted to do some acting, and it’s a good thing he did!
They were horrified. They’d invested all this time and money in my future, hoping to launch me into some sort of stable career. All my father knew was I didn’t have a place to go every morning, I was sleeping in, and I didn’t have a steady paycheck. I would get emails from him reminding me that the LA Police Department had a volunteer program, as a way of giving me something to do. But now, of course, they’re pleased.
