We’ve already learned that Nancy and her family leave Agrestic behind in Weeds’ fourth season and head south to the Mexican border.
But what Showtime didn’t tell us early on is that when the show premieres June 16 it will do so without two of our favorite characters: Conrad Shepherd and Heylia James.
We understand that Agrestic burned in the wildfires, but Conrad and Nancy had just started stoking the fires of their own romance. It’s hard to imagine a plot line that allows all the other main characters to come along on the Botwins’ Mexican adventure but not Nancy’s lover boy. (Celia Hodes trading her gated community for a run down border town? Really?) The show has taken us unexpected places, but this may be a stretch.
Not sure what we’ll do without our weekly dose of Romany Malco, whose on-screen chemistry with Mary-Louise Parker rocked. Much as we’re excited to see Albert Brooks guest star on Season 4, he doesn’t up the hot quotient the way Conrad did.
On the other hand, we’ll get a break from “Little Boxes” as the opening theme, reports the New York Post. Malvina Reynolds’ folk ditty will play during the credits at the premiere but after that it’ll be swapped with a tune more fitting for the show’s new seaside location.

I am so disapointed in the show, I was obcessed with this show, and I am finding myself annoyed, they should of just cancelled the show, the whole premis is different even the characters, its just WAY to different. Nancy is a different person, and Heylia and Conrad were major parts of the show, it is foolish for the writers to just not add them in.
