Weeds: ‘Su-Su-Sucio’ Preview

Poor Nancy Botwin. There’s a world of trouble — and then some — in store for the single mom with another child on the way during tonight’s (June 22) new episode of Weeds Phil Collins-ingly titled “Su-Su-Sucio.”

On the up side for viewers, actress Jennifer Jason Leigh (Fast Times at Ridgemont High) returns to continue her role as Nancy’s estranged older sister Jill. You can never have too much Jennifer, if you ask me.

More after the jump.

On the down side, however, at least for Nancy, Jill pays an unexpected visit just as nancy’s doctor advises her to get rid of the stress in her life. And if that’s not enough in the bad department, the Botwins are also forced to flee their home when Esteban’s bodyguard, who was assigned to watch Nancy, turns up missing during the engagement.

As for the other characters: Silas and Doug try to get official permission to launch their medical marijuana business, and Celia heads back to the States after things don’t work out with her managing that rebel camp.

“Su-Su-Sucio” was written by Roberto Benabib and Matthew Salsberg and directed by Lesli Linka Glatter. The usual pair of sneak peeks follow, the first called Sour Punch Bites (Silas and Doug discover it’s not so easy getting a license for a store that deals in medicinal marijuana) and the second Una Problema? (Nancy visits the doctor again when she suspects there may be a problem with her pregnancy), which is Spanish for “a problem,” if you didn’t know.

Weeds airs Mondays on Showtime at 10pm ET.
