Weeds: Alanis Morissette Debuts on ‘Van Nuys’

Finally, what tons of TV and music fans have been waiting for: the beginning of recording artist Alanis Morissette‘s seven-episode (so far) gig on Weeds, starting with tonight’s (July 6) brand-new episode “Van Nuys.”

During this most auspicious episode:

Nancy pays a little visit to her obstetrician, Morissette’s Dr. Audra Kitson, to discuss potentially aborting her baby.

Shane pays a little visit to Mr. Sandusky to retrieve his dope, with a little help from Ignacio.

Andy and bank teller Margaret go on a date, but she probably doesn’t realize that he, pretending to be Judah, only wants to get his hands on Judah’s bank account.

And Silas and Doug pay a little visit to a marijuana agent known as The Wizard to see if he will help them get the pot they need for their dispensary.

“Van Nuys” was written by Stephen Falk and directed by Bethany Rooney, and the two sneak peeks that go along with it are Stud-Muffin (Andy pretends to be his brother Judah while out on that date) and Threw Away My Tooth (Nancy finally finds out that Celia is living in her garage).

Weeds airs Mondays on Showtime at 10pm ET.
