"Walled In": Home Is Where The Heart Is...Literally!

The psychological thriller Walled In tells the story of a demolition expert who is terrorized by ghosts of people who have been buried inside the walls of a mysterious building. Check out the first trailer for the film here, and read more to find out what France has that we thought we only had here in America, after the jump:

Mischa Barton (The O.C.) stars as Sam, a recent graduate student and demolition supervisor. Upon being hired for the job, she soon learns that a sadistic killer has buried victims alive literally inside the structure of the building.

The script is adapted from the best-selling French language novel, Les Emmures, written by Serge Brussolo, who has been called the Stephen King of France.

Other amazing talent in this movie are actors Deborah Kara Unger (Shake Hands With The Devil), Cameron Bright (Juno, X-Men: The Last Stand) and Noam Jenkins (Saw IV). Of note, Cameron Bright is one of my favorite young actors.

At first glance, this movie reminded me of 13 Ghosts, and possibly even The People Under The Stairs (except for the obvious fact that those people were alive). The ghosts do seem to have a lot of tricks up their sleeves in the trailer.

I promise you that watching this trailer till the end will definitely give you a sinking feeling.
