It’s been a tough month for security guards. First a security guard took down a deaf shopper and created a firestorm of controversy. Now, a security guard has once again gained YouTube fame — and not for a good reason. As you can see in the video below, the security guard falls on his face while trying to chase after suspected shoplifters.
Shortly after the video begins, you can see the security guard rushing into the picture. He’s closing in on the suspected criminals when it happens — he’s submarined by some Do Not Enter bars and almost does a 360-degree spin. After landing on his face, he gets to his feet and quickly looks for his possessions that came spilling out during the tumble (actually, it looks like he lost his gun in the fall).
The funniest part of this security guard fail video is when he tries to play it off and continues to run after the shoplifters. Honestly, if you fall flat on your face and you lose your gun (or is that a flashlight?), that’s reason enough to stop the chase. And probably go look for another job.

Look at the fridge, and the shelves, wonder why everyone was running out the store….it wasn’t because a kid stole a can of beans.
There was an earthquake at the time. Supermarkets are one of the worst places to be as anything falling off the shelves stops you from running away quickly and aisles can domino and pin people down. let alone stuff falling from heights like ceiling tiles.
Yeah, he fell, but he got outside, a much safer place to be. Oh yeah, he also picked up his gun just after they cut the video… still much funnier to think he was a crap security guard.
By the way he left his gun behind! HAHAHA!
