We’ve so far had two Spice Girls teasing us with details of a new Spice Girls reunion. Yes, a new one, even though the first one only happened two years ago and ended rather badly. But while Mel B and Geri Halliwell seem to be on the inside of planning this latest comeback, Victoria Beckham clearly isn’t.
September saw Mel B tweet about the possibility of the Spice Girls getting back together (again) after she had a meal with Geri, Emma Bunton, and Mel C. Then Halliwell went on television and spoke about how it could happen, but refused to give details. Beckham wasn’t at the meal and it seems no one has yet asked/told her about a possible reunion.
Beckham told Hello! magazine:
“I haven’t been told anything about a reunion! No-one’s asked me to be part of anything like that, and I’m just so busy at the moment. I’m very hands-on with designing and I’m loving every minute of it. Even though I’ve just shown one dress collection, we’re already working on next season’s designs.”
So, has Victoria been left out on purpose, or are the rest of the girls waiting until their plans are more concrete before they approach her with them? Either or I’m not too sure whether Beckham would even be interested in rejoining the Spice Girls. She hardly needs the money and unlike the others she seems to have moved on.
A Spice Girls Reunion without Victoria perhaps?
