Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello tells us there will be a couple of exciting new additions to HBO’s hit show True Blood. The Bold and the Beautiful’s Ashley Jones, known to fans of that show (like me) as Dr. Bridget Forrester, has signed on for a six-episode arc. Jones will play Daphne, a new waitress at Merlotte’s. Ausiello also hopes Daphne will become a much needed new love interest for Sam. And don’t fret, CBS Daytime fans. Jones will juggle both roles.

Joining Jones and upping the blonde quotient of this show is Broadway’s Anna Camp. She’s currently starring in Equus with Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe.  Camp will portray Sarah, described as Steve Newlin’s “hot-to-trot” wife. And yes, there is probably a joke about casting an actress with the name Camp in a vampire show but I’m not going to make it. Oops.
