Trailer for Animated Zombie Flick 'A.D.'

I love the undead just as much as the next horror fiend but it feels like the zombie market has been saturated with the same old stuff lately. Perhaps Ben Hibon’s animated zombie flick, A.D., can help stir things up a bit.

There aren’t many plot details to uncover at this point but A.D.’s creator, Haylar Garcia, recently spoke to ZombieInfo about the film:

“One day I realized that almost all zombie films, though cool, seemed to have such a modest scope. I suddenly wanted to write a screenplay that had the feel of a huge action flick coupled the macabre charm and metaphoric content of the great zombie film too.”

A.D. is being produced by Bernie Goldmann (Land of the Dead, 300) so the project seems to be in capable hands. Hopefully we’ll see A.D. as a feature length film soon, but until then here’s the trailer which looks like a game cutscene. And that’s not a bad thing!
