According to TV Guide‘s Matt Mitovich, tonight’s disruption in the planned “uninterrupted 5th Season” of Lost won’t be the only one. Mitovich reports that “a late April clip show” is being planned to preempt a regular episode near the end of the season. That would probably put this clip show somewhere between episode 5.14, “The Variable,” and the season finale.
It’s still unclear why the show was preempted this week and now is going to be again. We were promised an uninterrupted run straight through all 17 episodes of Season 5. So is ABC responsible for slowing things down to get maximum ratings out of the show during sweeps? Or did Lost‘s producers ask for the disruption to give them more time to finish filming the season?

It would be interesting to find out what the delay is for. It sucks Lost isn’t on tonight but in the end the season will last a little longer so that isn’t so bad.
