“Chicken Soup”

• Jackie and her husband continue to suspect that their oldest daughter is suffering from an anxiety disorder. She shares their concern with Dr. O’Hara, who offers to help.
• At the hospital, an elderly Jewish man refuses treatment for his heart condition, choosing instead to treat it with his wife’s chicken soup (“there’s a little magic in every spoonful,” she says).
• Eddie tells Jackie that he’ll be replaced by a Pixis pill dispensing machine. Jackie asks Coop to vote against the machine when it comes up for review.
• Nurse in training Zoey loses her stethoscope to Dr. O’Hara and spends the whole episode working up the courage to ask for it back.
