Dexter Season 3, episode 11: “I Had a Dream”

When last we saw our favorite vigilante serial killer, Dexter was stashed in the trunk of George King’s car, no doubt bound for a skinning.

Tonight, he’ll wonder whether this is the end of Dexter Morgan. (We know better, don’t we, Showtime Fans, since the network re-upped the show for another two seasons.)  Still, it’s fun to watch Dex sweat and to think about how he’ll get back at Miguel for plotting his death.

Meantime, Miguel is busy setting up Maria as his alibi for all his extracurricular  activities. Rita sticks up for Syl over what she assumes is an affair, while Dex (of course) knows the truth.

With Dex’s disappearance, Deb starts to freak out. She and Quinn kick up their investigation, hoping to catch their villain. But it’s almost too much for Deb. Remember, she’s already had one guy she cares about trapped under the Skinner’s blade. She’ll interview Anton again, seeking any clues she can find to help her catch the Skinner and save Dex. It’s uncomfortable, though, to hear macho man Anton describe his experience as a victim.
