Tina Fey Heading Back to Her SNL Roots

Tina Fey
NBC Universal has released the information that 30 Rock creator, writer, and star Tina Fey will host the late-night series Saturday Night Live on February 23.

The Emmy, Golden Globe, and SAG Award recipient became SNL‘s first female head writer in 1999, and she remained with the show until 2006, at which time she began developing her current critically acclaimed NBC sitcom 30 Rock.

If there really is a TV God, one of Fey’s skits will involve her parking her butt back in one of the Weekend Update chairs. I can just see it now… So, mark your calendars, Fey lovers. Next Saturday is definitely the day to either stay in or set those recorders.
