Season 2 of Ira Glass’ slice-of-life TV series This American Life debuts a few Sundays from now. I was already excited. But then the witty folks at TAL posted this super-short tease to the new season. There’s nothing to the video — it’s just a few seconds — but I’m mesmerized by the little girl in it. What is the song she’s singing? Why doesn’t it have real words? Or if it does, what are the lyrics? Where did she learn her hip-shaking dance? And who puts her hair in those perfect pigtails every morning? I MUST know more:
Good thing the show airs May 4 at 10 p.m. Eastern — I won’t have to wait that long for answers.
