Don’t hold your breath to see David Boreanaz come back in any Angel format, if we can gauge from this week’s Ausiello:
Question: If you see David Boreanaz at the Fox party, ask him if there’s any chance of a Buffy-Angel reunion movie.— Karisma
Ausiello: It’s been well documented that the Big B detests talking about his vampire past, but I bit the bullet and asked him anyway. Although he didn’t come out and say it’ll be a cold day in hell before he takes part in such a project, it was heavily (and rather uncomfortably) implied. You can judge for yourself when the video goes up.

I just watched the Angel for the first time and love the series!! I really didn’t like the ending. I hope they do make an Angel movie!!
to arieanna who wrote the there is no Angel Movie… first I am friends with David and have worked with Joss also and what you wrote is a lie! David is a very nice guy and dose not mind people asking about angel or Buffy. I can tell you this An Angel movie may not happen only because of time and most of Buffy and Angel cast have moved on to other projects. Joss has already given a green light to Jane Espensen and Steven S. DeKight on writting a rough draft for an angel/Buffy reunion a one picture deal for both together. The other is Money and who will produce this will only happen if the money is right script is good to interject both shows and if the main cast can returen for this movie and it would only be for the big screen.

Angel was a great show and i say bummer to the exstream that there most likely will not be a movie but hey you never no with Joss Wedons persiverence, for example Joss turning the canceled tv series fire fly in to the major motion picture serenity. So for now bones is the source. — And how funny is it to see especially for angel fans davids character in bones with those long colorful stripped socks in the last episode of bones.

Agreed whole-heartedly. I thought the same thing and gasped… wondering if something was going on during ANGEL that hadn’t shown through. Good to know it’s just the repetitive questioning that is the problem. That show was my favorite to this day, but I love David and the new series Bones. It’s good to see him in a different role and showing he’s more than just a man who plays a good vampire (as wonderful as that vampire was )
Ausiello made it sound as though David hates answering questions about Angel. He doesn’t, as is evidenced by his appearence at Comic Con. He told fans they could ask about anything they wanted; Buffy, Angel, or Bones, and has stated time and again that he doesn’t feel a need to “get away” from the Angel character, that playing that part enriched his life.
As for fans wanting and asking about an Angel film, I don’t think it disrespectful. Rather, it shows the depth of their loyalty to a franchise and admiration for DB. Wanting an Angel feature film would be taking the character to the next level, and DB has said repeatedly that he would love to do that. As for whether such a venture would be possible? Each passing month makes it less likely. But Star Trek fans maintained their devotion and that franchise for 40 years. Since Angel has only been off the air for 2 years, why not cut DB/Angel fans a little slack?
Helena is absolutely right. Asking him that question was lack of respect.
Everyone interested knows that all involved announced in no uncertain terms that any such project is all but abandoned.
Much as I loved (and still do) that show, and sorry as I may be that it’s over, pestering someone that actually has a life with this question time after time after time is lack of respect.
Ausiello should have better listened to the scoop David was offering him. Instead, he was so self involved he got it wrong: Ryan O’Neal is playing BONES’s father, not BOOTH as he misheard and wrote – launching a thousand of bad articles and in some cases, corrections

Why can´t people respect him and stop asking that crazy question?!! Why would he wants to go back to BtVs?? ANGEL, I would have understood.
