The Wolfman Returns and the Legend Lives On

Wolfman__08Even a man who is pure of heart and says his prayers by night, may become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms and the autumn moon burns bright.

Going back as far as 1923, Universal Studios has been synonymous with classic horror. They introduced the world to Frankenstein, Dracula, the Mummy and The Wolfman.  Each one of these classic monsters lived on in film sequel after sequel and then they became part of pop culture history. Who doesn’t recognize Frankenstein’s flat top, Dracula’s evening wear or the shuffling walk of the Mummy?

Now Universal is preparing to bring you a new chapter in the classic horror saga – it’s The Wolfman starring Benicio Del Toro as Lawrence Talbot, a haunted nobleman lured back to his family estate after his brother vanishes.  Reunited with his estranged father (Anthony Hopkins), Talbot sets out to find his brother…and discovers a horrifying destiny for himself.

The movie launches in February of 2010, but before you can go forward, we must go back. Universal Pictures’ has put together a collection of rare clips, images and music from all of Universal’s classic Monster Movies.  Experience Universal’s Monster Legacy at www.thewolfmanmovie.com/legacy.
