The Strike Has Ended, But What Does it Mean for Bones?

strike-type2.jpgHere’s the official announcement from TVGuide.com:

There were times during the past three months when we never thought we’d say it, but… the WGA strike is officially over. According to the WGA websites, members voted by 92.5 percent to lift the strike order that was enacted Nov. 5.

According to all reports, the writers are back to work, as early as today!!

So, what does this mean for Bones fans? Here’s what TVGuide says:

Bones
Four pre-strike episodes left. Unclear whether additional episodes will be produced for this season.

Be sure to check back because I’ll be posting the latest news, as it’s released! Now let’s all keep our fingers crossed! :-)

    That was about time!

    Do you have any news about the airing date of the new episodes? Fox website says bones is back in 9 days, do they mean reruns or new eppies?

    @Eranda

    I know which one you mean, it’s not Vegas, it’s LA, and the eppy is “The Woman at the airport”, the one in which Booth fakes ordering a hooker and Brennan gets enraged about this and about plastic surgery. Great eppy!

    One more thing for the strike: as we say in Italy…
    ERA ORA!!!

    Welcome back, Bones

    I read somewhere that a new episode was returning Feb. 22. Has anyone else heard anything? I would so hate if that was just a rumor.

    Bones airs on Fridays at 8 p.m. When it will return with new episodes, the show will air on Mondays. Due to the strike, 12 of the 28 episodes ordered were produced before production shut down and a few new episodes should be produced before the end of the season.

    Episode 3.10: The Baby In The Bough
    Airdate: Monday, April 28, 2008 at 8 p.m.

    11/11 – Booth and Brennan investigate the scene where a car was run off the road and the victim’s body deliberately burned beyond recognition. When the team hears muffled whimpering during the site investigation, they find the victim’s baby miraculously perched in a tree above the scene of the crash. The team designates Brennan as the infant’s caretaker, but when the baby swallows a key piece of evidence, they question her nurturing skills. The team soon identifies the victim as a laborer who worked in a tire-recycling factory in a small, impoverished town in Virginia, and Brennan and Booth venture out to investigate who might have wanted her dead. Their suspicions range from her deadbeat husband to the impecunious habitants of her town. Meanwhile, the team is fascinated by the presence of a baby in the lab and its affinity for Brennan. Guest Cast: Nathan Dean as Agent Charlie Burns; Cameron Dye as Lou Taylor; Austin O’Brien as Jimmy Grant; Becky Wahlstrom as Carol Grant; Tom Wilson as Chip Barnett; Ronald William Lawrence as Terry; James C. Victor as Rich; Frank Clem as Earl Delancy; Steve Seagren as Sheriff Delpy; James Lashly as Paul; Sheila Shaw as Dorothy; Clement E. Blake as Ho
