The Factory: ‘Camping’ Spoilers (8-3-08)

Well, this is it folks. The first-season finale for Spike TV’s unfunny first-ever original comedy The Factory has arrived. The freshman run has been mercifully brief at just half a dozen episodes, and as I’ve mentioned before, I’m very, very eager to learn what decision the network reaches about renewing this series.

I’ve noticed that in recent weeks, the scheduled repeat episodes haven’t aired although programming guides continue to list them. Is that a warning or just coincidence? Who knows…

On the season finale “Camping,” after two of the guys go to one of their kids’ Career Day at school, the resulting depression — I assume arising from the realization that their lives don’t resemble anything like those of normal adults — causes them to join the other two guys on a camping trip. Things get stupid from there, as usual.

The customary two sneak peeks follow the jump. So, enjoy if you’re a fan, because they may very well be the last two previews the series ever has.
